The Icelandic designer Birna Karen
started young designing her own clothes
and was soon selling her designs in selected shops in Iceland and
Denmark.
In the year 2000 she graduated from Copenhagen School of Fashion and Design
And in 2003 started promoting her own brand BIRNA.
Since then the brand has grown and evolved.
