With a passion for fashion and an eye for beauty, Roopali started
designing her own clothing as a teenager. Growing up in India she had access to
plethora of vibrant fabrics and seamstresses, with whom she worked closely at
creating one of a kind hand crafted garments. In her 20's she moved to the
United States, during this time she bagged the Mrs. India International 2002
and Mrs. India America 2008 titles. She also served as fashion coordinator
for an Indian themed fashion show during the Winter Olympics in Utah. She
trained and worked as a model with Wilhelmina Urban in SLC, UT. This gave her
an opportunity to work closely with some of the best designers/brands and
stylists in the US Fashion industry. Roopali has
recently moved back to India and works closely with highly skilled artisans at
designing one of a kind exclusive indo-western products. In her designs she
likes to blend western and eastern elements to create a global citizen look,
which could be sported off with equal ease by a western woman as well as the
modern Indian woman.
