Jewelry with a past. Pieces with a story. A mix of vintage and found pieces reconstructed by designer Kym Wheeler to be wearable today. Each piece is a unique assemblage of vintage pieces from the early 1900’s and on, combined with found elements, to create a one‐of‐a‐kind pieces.
The seeds of Little Brown Wren were planted way back when Kym was little. She spent hours and hours going through her grandmother’s jewelry boxes, listening to the stories her grandmother told about each piece – where it had come from and where it had been worn. The love of all things vintage was begun, and a collection of vintage pieces started. Over the years, Kym has worked in the jewelry business and is a certified gemologist, but the new things just didn’t create a passion like the old ones.
Little Brown Wren has grown from re‐working pieces in her collection for personal use, to making pieces for friends, to the business it is today. But despite the growth, the thing that has stayed most constant is the passion for finding beautiful old pieces and forming them into new pieces to add your own history.
